It took (and is still taking) a village to build the family we have always wanted. Two moms, one nearly 3 year old and a baby on the way. We are so fortunate.

Failed
I failed my initial glucose screening. I also am borderline anemic.
We're in the same boat now!! Ok, so it sucks that you failed. I am sorry... but I have read of lots of women who fail the first one and then pass the 3 hour one!! Let's hope both of us fall into that category!! Do you know when you have to do your second test? I am still waiting to find out when I have to do mine.
Now you have my attention, my prayers, and my concerns all bundled nicely in a spiritual package which brings good health, good glucose numbers, and good iron rich blood. I hope you have reversed all of the stats that need reversing and boosted all the numbers that need boosting. (I don't want to have to send you a pound of liver!) Take exceptionally good care of yourselves. Good luck. Much love. Dad
Sorry Sara, that sucks! I'm sure everything will work out ok though. I'm also sorry you are missing family. It's funny how much more improtant they are when you are pregnant. I'm finding that more and more myself! Wishing you lots and lots of warm weather to brighten your mood :)
Most people pass the three hour after they fail the one hour, - that's what my OB said. I had to do the three hour too. Came back normal. Hope yours does too!
Failed my one hour, too. Passed the 3 hour. I think they must be overly conservative with the 1 hour cutoff. It's a pain to have to sit there for half the day, but hopefully you'll get good news the second time!
oof! Sounds like lots of folks have to go on to the 3 hour test..such a bummer that now includes you guys. Hope there is a good plan of action in place. xo
